Why We Built This

The QR Code platform I depended on got acquired. Within a year the subscription cost had tripled, features I used every day disappeared or moved behind new paywalls, and support had all but vanished. It wasn't a surprise. It's what happens when a product's success gets measured by investor returns instead of user value.

I built GenAQR because I miss when people built software because the problem was worth solving. Not to hit an exit, not to grow the number at any cost, just to build something genuinely useful, keep making it better based on what customers actually need, and charge fairly for what it's worth.

GenAQR is customer-first in the way that should be unremarkable but often isn't: feedback gets read and acted on, pricing reflects real value rather than what the market will bear, and the free tier exists so you can properly evaluate everything before spending a cent.
